Good morning, please I need an urgent advice on my voter's card issue. I registered for my voter's card while in undergraduate back in Ogbomoso, Oyo State in 2011. My problem is that there is a gender mistake that identified me as MALE which I noticed immediately the temporary card was given to me then but the Corp member who captured my bio data said there was nothing she could do about it. Now, I want to collect my permanent voter's card but the gender issue on it has made me put it off since. I was advised to travel back to Ogbomoso to collect it, then have an affidavit done in high court to correct the gender mixup , and submit the PVC plus affidavit back to INEC office. I want to ask if I'm legible to register for a fresh voter's card without any consequences since my fingerprints had been captured for the former one that I have not collected?

What you only need to do is tell them, they will fill a replacement form for you, then the information needed will be corrected before submission

Do you have idea if I can have it transferred to my state and then correct it.
