I think the Canadian VO in these European countries are very strict. I was also denied outside Nigeria within two weeks of application. The VO didn’t even take money inside my sponsors account into consideration, he only calculated the money inside my personal account and labelled it insufficient funds.

I wonder a times if these people carefully go through our applications.

Don’t be scared bro, you will get your visa by the Grace of God.

@Wheyme, please kindly order for your GCMS Note before you reapply. It shal all end in praise.

Amen and amen. Thanks bro

I just discovered that gcms takes one month and school resumes 5th September. Late enrollment begins on 21st August
Scared that I will not meet up. Plus Do you think "refusal based on personal assets and financial status" has to do with showing ties to my country of residence? Like if they require me to go apply from Nigeria rather than from Belgium ?

You can take the chance and apply without Gcms notes. Some have done that in the past and succeeded. Given resumption is close as a matter of fact, I will recommend you do so because many times GSMS and refusal forms often are in line and touch on the same things. You will need a strong SOP convincing and assuring the Canadian government that you intend to depart Canada after your studies. Yes refusal “based on personal assets and financial status” is absolutely a refusal based on ties. These ties don’t have to be in Nigeria. They can be anywhere as long as they are outside of Canada. No they don’t require you to apply in Nigeria. Where you are currently applying is fine.

A CASE OF LIMITED FUNDS AND EMPLOYMENT PROSPECT
LET THE GCMS COMES OUT. THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY FUNNY. SOMEBODY WITH THIS KIND OF FUNDING

Not a case of limited funds. His denial has nothing to do with the funds for his studies. He passed that criteria with flying colors. Assets and financial status is not a denial based on funds, but ties.

Please when am I likely to get response.

Submitted my application may 20th since then it just wrote processing.

I submitted when it was 8 weeks.

I need my passport so I can write IELTS.

When am I likely to get response

Please send them an email without further to do. Sometimes some applications get stuck on th cracks until CIC eventually finds them and renders a decision. You might want to send them a jingle and remind them of your application.

Hello gurus,
My application has been submitted via paper route since May 8th and my application is still been processed. My question is should I link my paper application online? How long does it takes them to process an undergraduate application?

Have you tracked it from the VFS website using the vfs tracking number ?

First do that then go and link it online
Don’t wait for a mail!

I would suggest you reapply and perhaps try and submit a more detailed SOP on how another masters will benefit your career trajectory and add value to the one you're about to complete. You should also add in your justification, issues like the dearth of people with apposite qualifications in your field in Africa and how you hope to head home afterwards to help train professionals in your field, etc. When you live outside your "home country" and in your case; as a student, they need to be convinced that the masters is not another ploy to go to another country as your current programme is ending.

This Canada visa ehn... please I want to know what happens when Visa comes late (maybe a week after resumption? Does this even happen? Or what happens when visa comes and school says it is too late for enrolment?

Some people have even passed background check and they are on eligibility review for weeks, some have been on background check for weeks as well...

Cos if this is the 1st June applicant receiving a response (according to you), I honestly don’t know what to say for people who applied in July for fall. This is serious.
