I will suggest you reapply but not without a landed document or document that show you have a property in Nigeria. No matter what your explanation is, you need those documents. You have no time anymore the earlier the better.

Wheyme:
I greet you all on this forum. I am kind of new here and started reading right after I made my study permit application, but unfortunately, I got a refusal today. Please find below my application information and package.

9. My up-to-date transcript stating I passed all courses but remaining my thesis to be completed
10. Bachelor's certificate on Biochemistry (Nigeria)
Reason for refusal stated: I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay based on personal assets and financial status.

P.S:

Afternoon guys, please I will like to know if applying for another masters in Canadian varsities will raise a red flag for me when applying for visa because presently doing a masters in Germany. Any advice will be highly appreciated.
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by makano: 12:36pm On Aug 07, 2018
Applying for Masters isnt the issue, the issue here is that you will need to do a thorough Job by convincing the VO your reason for another Masters when applying for ur Visa. Good luck

I want to believe you misinterpreted this. Those some said sending an email to CIC when an applicant application is within the processing times is not advisable. If an application has exceeded the normal processing times, an applicant is certainly free to send countless mails to CIC.

Frank, please are we supposed to scan and send the emedical form to CIC upon completion of the medical exams or will the hospital rather inform them?

Thanks for the response Attorney. However do i just mail them or do is it wise contacting them both on mail and web form.

I would really need help in navigating the web form in particular.

Thanks again Boss

As long as you are not done with the masters, you are free to apply to Canada. You must give the VO a good reason why you couldn’t complete in Germany and must head to Canada. Perhaps language continues to be a barrier for you in Germany or perhaps a more attractive research opportunity opened up for you in Canada in my experience, are what can pass.

Doesn’t work like the USA where by law schools are required to demand proof of your ability to fund your education before you are accepted. Canadian schools work on a need blind admission formula, meaning they accept you without requiring proof of your ability to finance Your education. The job of the determination of proof is solely that of the Visa Officer in the Canadian system.

No I didn't. I only informed them that there might be a delay with the issuance of my visa. So they said they will help in their own way.

Emails are sent to the office of the VO and not the VO directly. That is the difference.

It is in Nigeria that people let their emotions get in the way of them doing their job. A VO have absolute no right to get agitated because an applicant is MAD that his application is taking too long. I repeat NO right!

Plus I am yet to see a gcms note that came back with VO saying that the application was denied because the applicant was rude in his inquiry email.

You are right. The VOs hardly deal with emails. That is the work of another department (CIC agents) that deal with files before it is forwarded to a VO when necessary background checks and paperwork investigations are deemed completed. It’s advisable to write them after processing time is over. But if you have something urgent to contact them about even before processing time is over, please feel free to do that. Even CIC encourages that you contact them based on a change of circumstance anytime within the pendency of your application. It is not as rigid as some people here make it to appear. Yes you are right that email enquiries whether before or after processing times are over or the number of times you contacted them, plays no role in their decision making. Everything is based on merits. Having said that, it is important anything you are looking for in life, to be nice about your manner of approach, especially if that person holds power to deny you simply because the law gave them the power to decide also on discretion as well. Discretion simply means out of the abundant goodness of their hearts. They can deny you even if you qualify. Some emails are made part of the GCMS files, but not all. A VO can see it when reviewing the file. No foreigner has right to a visa. If it’s extended, it a matter of privilege not right. You need always to defer to that privilege if you plan to succeed with a Canadian visa.

Succinit!

While i do not like to argue with people online I felt it is also fine to clarify this. Someone said would you rather respond to someone who asked rudely or otherwise. Now that depends on what to you is rude. Saying you are loosing patience after your application have over stayed l is no rudeness in any language. You must have read that in your native african language to percieve it as rude. Between the idea that Vo will just slam you refusal based on these kind of things is quite silly. You sent too many inquiries....vo will refuse you. You check you app on sunday, vo will refuse you. This and that, I dont think you need to internalise inferiority complex because you need a study permit.

Is this ur first application? if yes, you can do without indicating ur first Masters, and make sure you dont submit anything that has to do with ur previous masters. But if you have applied before and u have declared ur previous masters then u will have to indicate it cos this VOs will def know cos they will have a database of previous applications. Also if you wanna omit ur previous masters in ur application, you will have to think of something to put in those years u did ur masters to avoid GAPS. Hope dis helps, Good luck

You are right in so many ways and I agree some of these things are just silly. It’s simple due courtesy to be polite though. I have actually seen reverse psychology work. You write them been all too nice and they walk all over you. You write them not been too nice and they take you serious and approve you. It’s hard sometimes to tell what works and whether loosing your patience can be interpreted as been rude. But I will recommend always as a rule of thumb, that people be nice. Simple and short!

It is most likely a denial since you didn’t mention taking any medicals. It’s got the marks and signs of Kenya people all over it, couple of weeks to act when it’s a denial.

GCMS (Global Case Management System) is Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC’s) system used to process applications for citizenship and immigration, tourist visas, student visas and visas under any other program. The system contains a detailed record of each applicant’s file, including correspondence from and to IRCC, documents received from the applicant, detailed notes from the officers reviewing the file among others. The GCMS notes are the only accurate way of providing an applicant with the in-depth view of his file on the IRCC system, thus enabling the applicant to be well informed of the status, or take pro-active steps as needed.#copied#

Hi nairalanders...
My first application was on April 17th and was through an agent in Lagos. After my first application, I joined nairaland and discovered the packaging was poor.
Went through some threads and was enlightened on how to tackle common reasons for refusals.
Decided to re- apply by myself.
Reapplied in June at vfs Abuja, I live in Lagos tho.
Program: PGD
Course : RN- critical care nursing , Niagara college
Was skeptical about reapplying because it's a PGD. After I got my refusal, I didn't bother to order for notes cause I felt I couldn't wait for so long before reapplying.

I used the ideas from this thread and previous ones and
The difference in my second from first application were:
A well detailed, real and sincere SOP, made sure I proved I am taking a step of academic progression, made sure I explained why I want the course, how I will survive with funding, my intentions to return to manage my mother's business.
My personal bank statement showing my savings and a deposit of 10k dollars equivalent transferred to my account.
Pay slips - was payed monthly by a relative.
Letter of introduction - I graduated last year and was working voluntarily as a nurse for 6 months.
Sponsorship letter explaining how the funds have been allocated for my education and survival. Also explains how my sponsor will survive while I am away.
Letter or clarification
Reference letter from bank
Sponsor bank statement
Sponsorship letter
Land document or sponsor
Ielts result
Bsc certificate
transcript
Offer letter
Receipt of 1st term fees payment.
Needed to prove I am a real student.

Prayers and total trust in God's timing

I pray for more trv approvals in Jesus name.
Congrats in advance to the trv hopefuls.

Starred. Congrats
