Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by wealth360: 3:54pm On Aug 07, 2018
GCMS (Global Case Management System) is Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC's) system used to process applications for citizenship and immigration, tourist visas, student visas and visas under any other program. ... The GCMS notes are issued under the Access to Information and Privacy Act (ATIP). (Google) grin

Hi,
I dont know for certain if it's gonna be an issue. But it sound like it could be.
If you're yet to renew it I suggest you do it in Ottawa Canada. At least that's what I intend to do.
First thing I'll be doing the day after I land in Ottawa by Gods grace. Before taking a flight to my school's province.

Thank you. I think renewal will be permissible (see attached image and link).

Does updating an application with important updates such as 'employment change' elongate the processing time of a student visa?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 14 by harde116: 4:23pm On Aug 07, 2018
You are losing your patience ke? That means you can take them to court or beat the VO. lmao! Choice of words please...

Cheers

ayoadefantastic:
Sure!

Dear Sir,

I would like to draw your attention to my study permit application with application number number:

Please this application has now passed the ideal processing time as indicated on the IRCC website as at when I applied. Please I am now loosing my patience as resumption is fast approaching and no travel preparation is realistic without a visa decision. Kindly help have a look into this application.

Kind regards,

I got this reply to my CSE enquiry about the status of my application and me reminding them that my resumption date is close. As far as I can tell, this doesn’t look like a generic reply or has anyone received anything similar to this Kind of response before?

Good day Jeremy........

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided and are pleased to inform you that everything appears to be in order with your application.

All the required documents and information have been received by the responsible office for the moment.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

This is quite shocking. You say it with so much confidence, even though you know the tone is wrong. Why use a harsh tone, when you can ask politely? And hey don't forget, they are humans, imagine an application that is already on shaking table, what would you expect after such enquiry? They can as well return the patience to you in full and tell you to stay back in your country. They reserve the right to deny you visa for whatever reason, anyone that is not happy should go to court. You will now tell them if it's by force to go Canada to school.

Emails are sent to the office of the VO and not the VO directly. That is the difference.

It is in Nigeria that people let their emotions get in the way of them doing their job. A VO have absolute no right to get agitated because an applicant is MAD that his application is taking too long. I repeat NO right!

Plus I am yet to see a gcms note that came back with VO saying that the application was denied because the applicant was rude in his inquiry email.

How did you know 70% have gotten responses if you are only sure of two people? What a way to draw conclusion.

Frank, please are we supposed to scan and send the emedical form to CIC upon completion of the medical exams or will the hospital rather inform them?

No! The hospital will send the medical result directly to CIC. You only include the E-medical slip if you're going for an upfront medicals.

Please calm down.

No one here have tried to justify being rude. I believe I’m a Mr nice guy myself, so NO. I’m not encouraging people to be rude.

All I’m trying to say is that it’s okay for applicants to get angry and express their emotions in their email. Telling a VO you are loosing your patience after you application has passed 5 months is just fair enough.

Everyone should feel free to do his or herself, but this fine young man here will send an inquiry email the day after my application pass the average processing time.

Its ok to now let the matter die. But the bolded is quite ridiculous. Seems to me like naivety! Whoever first used the word "rude" to describe loosing patience caused this ab initio!

OMG! Ridiculous!
This reads exactly how we Nigerians act in offices.
Again expressing your feelings is not rude not even when the statement starts with "please"!

Did your biometrics ever change from completed to we do not need your fingerprints ?

If yes, when did the change occur?

LOL! Whoever told you having regard for people only has to do with certain countries. Courtesy is universal, but if you think otherwise. Please feel free to do whatever pleases you. So because a statement started with "please" it has reduced the potency? Like, "please you are........."LOL!

I guess please makes one feel better. It's okay, feel alright Sir/Ma.
