I don't speak for all who claim to be Christians because not all understand what it really means. Now you mentioned things that are true but the conclusions you make of them are warped.

Jesus wasn't a Christian because a Christian actually means a follower of Jesus Christ, therefore, Jesus didn't follow himself.

The Hebrew Scriptures A.K.A. Old testament aren't Christian books because the were written by servants of God before Christ, however the scriptures pointed to the Christ hence he used it and so did his followers. (Luke 24:25-27, 44,45; Galatians 3:23,24)

Again the several graphic illustrations of Jesus are not his pictures, no one knows what Jesus actually looked like so if anyone claims that those are actually pictures of him is indicative of the fact that he's less informed.

As for the Christian Greek scriptures (The New Testament) these weren't written to tribes as you falsely assert, they were written to Christians. Jesus had commissioned his followers to preach his message around the world to people from every nation, tribe and language hence the spread of Christianity. While it is true that the Europeans who came to Africa brought the Bible and distorted part of its message by wrong interpretations that doesn't nullify the Bible itself from being God's word of truth. Jehovah is indeed the God of truth and he's championing the course of helping people around the world come to an accurate knowledge of the Scriptures.

As for the teaching of eternal torment in hell it definately isn't a scriptural teaching. The Bible users fire as a symbol of total destruction hence Jehovah would obliterate Satan and the demons as one who puts a piece of cloth in fire would do. Romans 16:20 says Satan would be crushed out of existence in due time.

The message of the Bible is simple and not difficult to grasp by those who are humble and who desire to find the truth. While it is true that there's much hypocrisy and confusion in general the good news is that there is truth and it can be found in the Bible. Romans 3:3,4 states that man's unfaithfulness doesn't invalidate the faithfulness of God and that Jehovah is the God of truth. At Matthew 11:27 Jesus reveals that he's in the best position to reveal the truth about his loving father Jehovah.

No matter what knowledge you have gained from whatever source I'll like to conclude with this scripture. Proverbs 21:30: "There is no wisdom, nor discernment, nor counsel in opposition to Jehovah."
