When is fall semester starting in MUN for graduate study, plz?
Why ask here when you can easily go to MUN's site to get the info you seek? Please we should always try to do some research ourselves then come back here to ask important questions.

Doesn’t say much than your paperwork is intact and no misrepresentation found and now file has crossed from one department and been sent to a VO for decision. Best wishes as your fate is decided in the next few days/weeks.
Okay thanks chief for the info.

@dubaiboy1 Sorry for the delay bro, what's the relationship between your proposed course and your current job and previous degree (that's if you are going for post graduate program now)? Try and order for your GCMS file asap and refire. Try to contact your school as well to let them know your app has been delayed and let them tell you what next to do(like deferring your admission and the next possible session for you).

Yes, presenting proof of financials before admission offer letter is given is very real with Dalhousie................its a requirement ..........After the admission committees reviews and gives their recommendation, the applicant would be asked to present proof of financials before the offer letter is issued

anybody else who got in at Dalhousie ? is this common at Dalhousie ?

Well guys , it has been fun while it lasted ... My application was refused ...

I applied on July 19.. Paper route..

These are the reasons for my refusal:

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay. In reaching this
decision, I considered several factors, including:

*** purpose of visit
*** employment prospects in country of residence
*** current employment situation

Other reasons:

*** Upon a complete review of the application, previous academic and employment history and the
reasonableness of undertaking the proposed studies in Canada, I am not satisfied you are a bona
fide student & would depart Canada at end of authorized stay

Good luck to you guys.
Sorry man... Don't give up

Changing to upfront medical passed and start of eligibility review does not say much on whether visa application would be successful or not. I wish you success though.

Even considering the fact that both changed after 8weeks of application and changed same time?

Hello guys I have a question.
My University gave me August 8th as deadline to tell them wether or not I’ve gotten my student permit.
I applied on July 15th & was asked to do my medicals on Monday. I did my medicals on Tuesday 7th August. My CIC account has been stuck on “We are currently reviewing wether you meet the Eligibility requirements” for the past 3 weeks.
Should I just lie to the school that I’ve gotten the visa as I was called for medicals?
I’m scared to be deferred to Winter semester.

Applied on july15th and already called for medicals?
So blesssed. I applied on june 29th and they still checking my background.
However, dont lie to them oooo. They can check the system and see no record of you

Yeah doesn’t say much. If you were called for medicals then we can make a call, but right now nothing is known, only that the application has made good progress towards its finishing point.

The schools knows nothing about the status of your visa application until you tell them. That said, yes he should not lie, but tell them the truth. If it’s true his application has made this fast of a progress, his decision should most likely come out by 15th since he has done medicals already. What befuddles me though from this person’s assertion is the claim that he applied since July 15 and his status been on eligibility of review for the last three weeks. So since he filed his application. This is almost impossible.

There is a very high probability that the person will be approved. I guess there's been just one case of medical passed then before refused visa since I've been following this thread. My approval came within 3 hours of my upfront medical passed. A friend's approval came within 3 days. For paper route, they won't bother to ask you to go for medical if you will be refused.

This person is upfront medicals though. He was not called. Upfront medical is different. Someone’s upfront medical can change to pass and still be refused. It happens all the time and even as of last week with someone I know.

Ps: Sorry mistaken him for someone else as per the medical point. I guess the only problem I had with this one is how his review of eligibility started 3 weeks ago when he applied only three weeks ago.
