The Senate President Bukola Saraki is currently in a closed-door meeting with a former Head of State, Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida at his Minna hilltop residence, Niger State.

This is coming hours after the Senate President concluded a World Press Conference in Abuja.

It was gathered that the senate president arrived at Minna airport around 4:00 pm and went straight for the meeting 20 minutes after.

Saraki is just increasing his popularity day by day and hopes that in 2019, it will be a case of Nigerians choosing the lesser evil. But Nigerians are already tired of leaders with personal interests overriding national development. It's too late for him undecided

Jonathan held so many closed door meetings with this same IBB prior to the 2015 election. How did it later go? He lost the election foolishly. So they should continue holding meetings upon meetings, they shall fail as usual.

And this is my problem with the country, we have embraced the dirty side of manipulation, Saraki must never return to the senate. The sad thing is that, another man the deputy senate is there who is a little bit more open even though he may be corrupt but his faculty is used for thinking about how to develop the country not 419 calculations. I suspected Daura is the one initiating this based on his own intelligence but Saraki would have been informed about before Daura makes his move. And Daura moves look like it was influenced by military thinking not caring which side falls, the ultimate beneficiary is the military. I am just saying, IBB or even Danjuma may be aware about all this moves.

Even if Saraki finish as Senate President he would have been very very successful

It gets to a point in life nothing else matters than to align your interest with that of the people

Saraki has no benefit engaging with Buhari and his impunity

Win or lose Saraki is better off running for Presidency 2019. He is the man of the moment
