Nigerians have taken to social media to rant over the construction of a giant broom in front of the Abuja City Gate.

Residents of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) noted that as of Thursday, it wasn’t clear what was being constructed when they began, but afterwards, it turned out to be the broom symbol of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

PDP developed Abuja to a modern and finest city in Nigeria.

Abuja was a glorified town until PDP came on board in 1999

With all PDP's tremendous developmental strides, they did not decorate the city with childish party symbols.

Buhari/APC are enjoying the city now but have not added a single piece of infrastructure to it

Atiku should come quick and remove that dirty broom
