I saw a nice xiaomi phone I want to buy on Ali express I am scared of the custom charge so a friend asked me to go through post office. The question is, is it my house address I'll put as delivery address or post office address. I don't know to place order straight to the post office. Alixpress veteran u need your help. Input your house address. The shipment will be sent to the nearest post office close to your address 3 Likes |

dhannyson:Post office might not necessarily save you from custom charges. Compare the price from aliexpress with jumia and do the maths or check xiaomi thread if anyone has the phone 1 Like |

Compare the prices AliExpress, Jumia and Gearbest, I believe Gearbest should be the cheapest. |

They will deliver it to the post office u provided in the postal address, so if u make a mistake and input a wrong postal address. Just forget about the product. |

I ordered for Oukitel k3 from Aliexpress on 12 Feb. but till date the phone is still on transist. Guy Aliexpress is a no no for me. |

Chimarto:U made d mistake bro... Don't just select an item cos of low price. Make sure lots of pple have bought dsame item and check Tru the stars (preferably 4 stars at least). Also go Tru the reviews. Some sellers are not at fault at times but the transit may be d prob. Bro just open a dispute on d order and indicate that it has passed 60 days u ordered for the product. The seller wud come begging u to cancel d dispute (cos he wud loose if he has truly sent the package)... I've don this more Dan 3 times (which is wat I use to punish sellers for delaying my orders for 3 months and above). Ur bank account would be credited back for the money in full (after abt 1week of initiating d dispute) and u cud still possibly receive the package |

dhannyson:Bro don't select DHL. Just select China post or ordinary post or the default shipping method. DHL wud definetly go trough Nigeria Custom Service processes (not all d time tho)... But it may take up to 2 weeks to a month for delivery. Also make sure the item has bn bought by other buyers(preferably 10 at least). Go Tru the reviews as well so as to avoid stories that touch |

dhannyson:Xiaomi and Umidigi phones are more cheaper on GearBest. I bought my Xiaomi Redmi 4X on GearBest at a price of $119 and I received it without any custom charges and just last 2 week I bought another phone Umidigi S2 Lite at a price of $129 and just yesterday they called me to come with N700 and collect my percel at the post office. My advice is to check on GearBest because they shipped it straight without any customer charges and others. Use your real house address, they will either deliver it to your house or they will call you to come and collect it at the nearest post office.
