The Lagos - Ibadan railway project also known as L-I railway project is a 156.075 km long section of the Lagos - Kano project. The track will link Apapa port in Lagos to Ibadan in Oyo State with a total of 9 stations Lagos Apapa port, Agege, Agbado, Kajola, Papalanto, Abeokuta, Olodo Omi-Adio and Ibadan.

Earthworks ongoing. This is somewhere between Kajola and Papalanto.
We are used to it. Starting projects and Neva finish...
Who will brag that this rail project Will be completed before the presidential election in February.

This is done at higher cost through importation of steel/iron from China, but we can source material locally by when ajaokuta steel company is completed and the yield will be more at a the lowest cost their by improving our economy and increasing productivity.

I think the initial silence on the herdsmen issue was the reason for the affiliation and considering the fact that Buhari is a Fulani related too but these are absolute wrong insinuations, I've come to accept that we Nigerians think the way we want to think especially when an opinion is formed. At the beginning of the government, I saw one that meant well for Nigerians considering the personality of the men at the affairs or works, power, transportation etc. We can only hope for good and the worse.

Yes its a good development but other nations are moving forward, embracing modern railway track system, why are we still celebrating mediocre in this God forsaken nation

We need speed trains and modern train system not locomotive railway tracks.

It is really painful to be born a black African, especially a Nigerian cry

As if the government officials they are hailing are using their pocket money or personal money to fund these projects.

For crying out loud, these are the normal things they are supposed to do.

We must stop this celebration of mediocre whether as APC or PDP supporters, it won't take us anywhere better sooner or later angry
