This is the Iju railway station, Agege, Lagos. It is the terminating and originating terminal for commuters going to Agege, Agbado, Kajola, Papalanto, Yaba, Ikeja-Along, Ebute-Metta, etc. The Iju train station building is an old structure built over 60 years ago during the British rule in Nigeria. This train station is part of the network of railway lines in the ongoing project to connect the bustling coastal city of Lagos to Nigeria's third-largest city, Ibadan, in the second stage of the government's railway modernisation project. The modernisation project under the supervision of the Nigeria Railway Corporation (NRC) will see to the construction of 144km (90 miles) of railway tracks. https://autojosh.com/this-is-iju-train-station-agege-lagos/ 2 Likes

When the world has jumped to super fast trains and exquisite designed station we as the Giant of Africa are still far from drawing a progressive rail plan, let alone actualize them. 11 Likes 2 Shares |

If the Station is constructed within major communities between Lagos and Ibadan... am moving to Ibadan right away before land finish for there.... It can't be more Than 2hour journey and N1000 as Transport fare, which is equivalent to what i spend within Lasgidi 15 Likes |
