I was brought by my step dad who I see as my dad. Before then I was with my grandad and uncles. So all your assertions about being possessive are not true. I am there for my kids and always will be. I love their mum and we live for these children basically. Hated my dad from childhood and always will hate him. I won't attend his funeral either.

Before you hate your Dad and not attend his funeral, have you tried finding out if his own Dad was there for him, or if there was something surrounding his Dad's attribute and him mis-behaviorism towards you ?

The man might be going through some things you do not know, which could justify his actions. Be a better man and sit him down for a mature chit-chat, not towards reconciliations if you do not want to, but just to fight your own aspect of hate towards him.
