Needed a win today just to blow the cobwebs out after a slightly negative transfer window. Beefy at the end after some confusion between Bailly & De Gea but the result was all important.

Main highlights are in central midfield. Pogba was excellent tonight. Real leader’s performance. Fred with a positive debut and good to see him add some bite and energy. Gave it away a few times but overall a good debut.

My personal highlight was Andreas Pereira. Moved into a deeper role than he’s played previously during preseason and he looked comfortable. Put some good tackles in, good under pressure and looked to pass forward when he could.

Even though Luke Shaw scored in the game, he needs to step up his game. He sometimes play like a secondary school boy. He lost control alot.
