Welbeck doesn't score goals but he offers other things. I remember the FA cup finals two seasons ago against Chelsea, he was the reason we won though he didn't score.

People will be surprised how much Emery will use him. He is strong and energetic, qualities that will make him a good pressing agent for Emery's press tactics.

I agree with you, Wenger's ball killed everything in welbeck, (and host of many orther players)

Thruthfully, he isn't the goal scoring type, but he is sure to give you energy,fight, height,defence and help in the press tactics..

Perez might be better technically,but I doubt he has what it takes to fight in the league, he's too one footed,not strong enough,lacks height and ruggedness for English football..

I'm hopeful we will see a better player in welbeck this year,and hopefully sell him at a good price for better winger next summer
