This guy just lost.

Obasanjo is seriously one of the problems of Nigeria, and any politician consulting, visiting or seeking for political guardianship from this man that just refuses to let Nigeria be from his shackles, does not mean well for Nigeria.

Kwankwaso is second most popular candidate after Buhari. If I am kwankwaso I will support Buhari and fight for the vice presidential sit 2023.

True.

But 2023 is a long time away, and by then, the dynamics of politicking might have relegated him into irrelevance.

He has not made inroads into the West,South or the East, and he has not built an all round National-Level political team to sell him to the electorates.

While I am not discouraging him from pursuing his dream of wanting to become the President, I feel he is just wasting his time.

Who knows?he might just be pursuing an Ambassadorial position, and so wants to make a little noise to get noticed.

Who among the candidates won't visit OBJ, absolutely no one...anyone who refuse to do so is at his own peril. Love or hate him OBJ is a force to be reckoned within and outside the country.... He's just a navigator.

He dosent have to if he is looking for vp. I believe the presidency is going to south in 2023 and you have to look for a strong vp to canvass the northern vote. Kwankwaso is just a perfect man for that Job.

He is not looking for ambassadorial nominee. He was once a deputy speaker, a governor, a minister of defense. He was sent on peace mission by OBJ to Dafur. He is now a senator. I dont think he wants to be an ambassador.

For now his primary target is not the presidency but how to defeat the current governor of Kano state who was his deputy for 8 years.

Your analysis makes a lot of sense. But like I always say, politics is unpredictable, and a lot of factors can be a game changer, even if the player is well grounded in politics.

We the observers(you and i) will be around to witness how it plays out. But something tells me this is his last lap, like most older politicians.

2023 will usher in a newer, younger, and more pro- Nigeria development in mind Politicians.

We will get there Insha Allah.

Exactly what I had also expected Tambulwa to do.

Who is taking obasanjo serious again ! He had already lost all the relevancy in his blood. undecided

Visit Wole Soyinka then we will take you serious grin

Can’t you tell from the pictures that we have an ex-President who loves relevance? He looks so elated to receive that man. Personally, I’d prefer that Kwankwanso keeps his red cap cult to himself and the north. Nigeria is not a northern experiment.

You people give Tambuwal too much credit. He's just a media creation with no electoral value. Much as I dislike Kwakwanso for his chronic ethnocentrism, he's by far more popular than Tambuwal.

I think it would have served Kwankwaso better if he ran as Vice President to the next Southern Presidential aspirant.

But it's very unlikely anyone would want to pick him on a ticket. He's too hot-blooded and vice presidents are more laid back.

I don't see this attempt going well. He won't win PDP ticket and even if he wins, can't defeat Buhari.

Move from step to step like Saraki who is growing stronger daily
