I DONT UNDERSTAND WHY SO MUCH NOISE OVER SARAKI, HOW MANY OF YOU ADVISED TAMUBUWAL TO RESIGN OR STEP DOWN WHEN HE MOVED OVER TO APC. THE LAWS IS VERY CLEAR ON THIS ISSUE, GET YOUR 2/3 AND IMPEACH HIM, WHY NOT USE THIS TIME TO LOBBY SENATORS TO GET THE REQUIRED NUMBERS RATHER MAKE NOISE EVERYDAY.

This man has suddenly forgotten so quickly the case of tambuwal and the similar cases in the second Republic. This is the type of people certain younger generation is listening to. Prince Tony Momoh, a former Minister of Information has said it will be impossible for Senate President, Bukola Saraki who is in a minority party to preside over the Senate which has All Progressives Congress ( APC) in majority.

Speaking in a chat with Daily Independent on Thursday, Momoh one of the National Leaders of the APC said the APC senators who are in majority will not fold their hands during plenary and watch while Saraki who is now a member of the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) presides over them.

“He can resign or be thrown out. He can resign if he says i am no longer on the ticket of the party. But the party can go to court and if the court decides that there is no faction in APC, then he can lose his seat.
Having lost his seat, then he can no longer be the Senate President because only a Senator can occupy the position”.

The only way APC can remove Saraki is by going to court or mobilise two thirds of the members to remove him . They can’t force him out”.
” I don’t know how Saraki can preside over a Senate where he is in the Minority and I don’t think the APC Senators who are in the majority will just sit down there and watch while somebody who is in the minority presides over their affairs”.
” I only hope he is not inviting trouble because of greed” he said.

Does it mean that once somebody joins APC he/she automatically losses the sense of reasoning,just imagine the self contradiction.there is no doubt that the APC is responsible for siege of the NASS in a heinous attempt to get rid of saraki n even though that attempt failed they are relentlessly still cooking up other dirty means of achieving their without shame,nigerians needs to be on the watchout,years ago these kind of acts would have attracted the wrath of the NLC but not anymore today.

the constitution neva mentioned majority or minority, neither apc nor pdp , saraki has been so smart from the onset the only person on his tail was tinibu but buhari refused to listen to tinibu immediately after he won 2015 elections, now dey need 2/3 of the senate to remove him which is 78 out of 109 senators, well if anyone one had opportunity to make dis country great it was pdp of 1999-2015, the had the executive, legislature and judiciary under one umbrella without rancor but the threw it to the winds, and with unfolding events am not sure any party would have such opportunity in near future

Truth be told, Saraki is being greedy. Not only is he now in a minority party, but his deputy is also in the minority party. Such anomaly would be difficult to sustain unless APC just decides to let it slide.

the fact on ground is that senator Abbubakar Bukola Saraki is the president of Nigerian 8th senate and senator Like Ekweremadu is the deputy senate president. if you feel you can't handle that fact, maybe death could help relive you the pains.

It’s that simple.

Telling the public that Saraki is the cause of the recessed and comatose economy, the thousands of terrorists herdsmen killings, the Boko Haram onslaught on military outposts and civilians in the North East, the governmentlessness at the centre of power, etc isn’t able to remove him.

It appears they know this; if APC and their apologists can stop disturbing the polity and the rest of us, the happier we shall be.

It is weird for somebody to believe that the exit of saraki and so called big shots in apc will affect buharis re-election. I tell you most solemnly, buhari is not winning because of the party or because of the members of the party. He is winning because of his good will. He has a good heart. He is genuine not fake. One with God is majority. Let us tell ourselves the simple truth. Even in 2003 election, buhari won that election but obasanjo rigged that election believing that buhari will call for war but he maintain his stance as a peace maker. In 2007, he won too and pdp with machinery of government in their disposal usurp the position. Come 2011, same happened. As they were doing this, they did not know that they are digging their graves. God always gives a sinner a long way to repent. If he fails, death is always the reward. Pdp with anybody in it is dead and can never be resuscitated. Now is the judgement day. Nigeria must move forward.
