Nobody at Arsenal had the guts to have sacked Wenger. His leaving was part of the agreement when he signed a two year extension. Hence the appointment of Mislintat and Sanllehi.

I focused on him all through this half and noticed that he's sluggish, lacks pace or the strength of Torreira and most annoyingly, doesn't close down opposition players to stop them from shooting. He's still young and can improve, but for now, he's below average.

I think he started well but the pressure of playing against a big team led to wayward passing which is typically because of the hesitation of his youth. I agree he should have covered Sterling better but I think he has shown some positives with his work rate and it would be unfair to be too hard on him.

Just put it simple : He is playing like a younger version of Elneny, using his eyes to mark. He just dey mark players inside his head, not marking them on the pitch
