They fired him only after he criticised them for not speaking up on corruption

CAN is the most curropt religious group i have seen. They should show us evidence of preaching against curroption. Osinbajo is correct

Professor Osinbajo dealing heavy blows to agents of Corruption. Preaching against Corruption if truth be told is not being done explicitly enough by religious leaders. They hardly condemn stealing government money in clear terms. So CAN is wrong, both Muslim and Christian clerics must condemn collection bribes, kick backs, outright stealing of government funds etc.in clear undeniable terms and must be willing to invoke curse on those who do it.

Vice president is getting confused why is he against churches and pastors,he is there to represent them,that is the reason he was voted into office in 2015.moreover, the present government which he is part of is a persecuting govt,they talk about hate speech,which carries death penalty. So what does he want the pastor s to do,to speak against the corrupt govt and go to jail or. have their licences revoked.The pastor are praying secretly against this govt for it to be replaced including Osibanjo .Those that are in govt that are speaking against the evil of the govt are they not being intimated, harrashed and even frame up false charges against therm.Osibamjo should stop being an anti Christ or anti church activities.

My question now;on a serious note, I don't see it necessary for religious leaders to start preaching corruption or against corruption, why are Muslims not doing that to, I just think our VC is shut of ideas. Their responsibility is to preach the GOSPEL. and politicians to take care of public welfare of the people including what affects it like CORRUPTION. Now they want to play the blame game by falsely accusing CAN because of the government incompetence to curb all these. Spits for my country *flips hair*

Corruption itself is a relative term depending on which side of the divide u belong. Stealing govt money is not necessary termed as corruption amongst the HausaFulaniMuslims of the North.
It's called 'riban arzikin kasa'. It's their culture. They proceed to purify these loots with the payment of Zakat to the Muslim Umma. That's all.

The Christians view All corrupt practices as SIN before Jehovah.
But because of greed, trials and avarice among the brethren many still steal or commit this sinful deed. ''All are Sinners'' they whisper while mortgaging their Eternal Destiny.

To the Pagan /Occults/Cultists and African Traditions Religion, they are free to steal provided they don't get caught in any form. Even though they steal to flaunt their 'success' they often do rituals to avoid Karma and Laws of the Land. Bulk of Nigerian Politicians belong here.

We still remember the Private Jet swaggerlicious Yahoo Pastor who single-handedly put Jonathan's head in his arse Jonathan's head was so deep in that yansh that it's visible in the pastor's stomach / bank accounts

If i trace your posts, I'll find that you are Igbo or LiePod , that's how you all think , This government is not persecuting anybody , it's people like you who turned corruption war into persecution / witch- hunt

Yes, Osibanjo was elected to represent Christian interest, But what's the use of his post and power if he can't participate in affairs of church by telling them to return to the path of righteousness , I have been listening to sermons and i know for sure majority of the pastors don't speak against immorality or sins , by majority i mean 99.999% rather they preach prosperity and setup schemes to defraud christian faithfuls , they own jets and mansions , but church goers who they rip off are mainly tenants


I do hope sincerely that it's not too late to save you because this your mentality , Igbo mentality about this administration will not end well in the near future

It is so unfortunate that most of the religious leaders don't even preach what they're meant to preach. They're only after enriching themselves.

the gospel of Christ is about living like Christ.
And worldly life is not part of the kingdom of God.
Why will pastors love money more than their very soul.
They even defend corrupt PDP,
Saying buhari is witch hunting the opposition.
Defending Yahoo boys that SARS should allow them continue their trade.

They will never ask their corrupt member how they make money overnight.
Many pray for prostitute going to Italy.

the blanket statement by vice president could be interpreted to mean that all the effort being put by Pst. E.A Adeboye in preaching holiness is not enough. likewise men like Pst F.w Kumuyi, Gbele Akanni, the hots of other preaching holiness and righteousness are all considered by the vice president to mean nothing. in fact vice president called their effort useless. vice president also did not just make mockery of their effort but also tell them to their face that Mohammadu Bahari is a better preacher than them all.
