How many people do this even in advanced countries? Everyone can't stick to the internet. I believe if we have other means of transportation, like modernised ferries and light rails, these problems would ease up.

I never said everyone should stick to the internet.

Besides, those advanced countries you mentioned already have well developed transport systems.

AutoJoshNG:
Commuter activities on roads in Lagos are typically high in the mornings. However, Monday mornings are even more grueling.

On Monday mornings in Lagos, commuters - smarting from the rest opportunity offered by the weekends - are often upbeat and more aggressive in their commute.

On Monday mornings, commercial vehicles are at an incredible high demand.

The shortage of mass public transport during that period makes the competition to get a seat in any available commercial vehicles extremely ferocious.

Commuters who are unable to scramble their way into any available commercial vehicle are left stranded. They are left with no option than to wait for the next opportunity for a scramble into a commercial vehicle heading towards their destinations.

And the rat race continues.

Slavery! especially all these 'yes sir' 'yes sir' workers. Some people are in their home operating at their own convenience, clicking laptops and phones, receiving credit notifications from their banks every seconds; and making more money than all these people saying 'yes sir' to one small oga in their offices, leaving home 4am and returning 10pm.

So true. Lagos is not overcrowded for every resident. All those big people u hear living in Lagos, u think their lives are overcrowded?
But real Lagos (Oshodi, Ojuelegba, etc) are much worse than these photos
