Finally decided to come out of my peeping mode. Thanx to Zaynie for encouraging me. Hi mummies in the house. Im a SAHM currently shuffling between uyo and calabar. Ive got a 15months old daughter (Team may 2017) and i bake lactation cookies and milkshakes for nursing mothers. Ive learnt so much from this page. I even tried the palm oil and sugar on my DH and he kept saying you and this your nairaland eh. Lol . God bless all the mamas here.

LO,he is 30weeks plus,but looks like a 4 weeks old,even some 4 weeks old are way bigger than him,he feeds well on formulas,pap,cereal and eats any thing eatable.But he is just too skinny that i you can see his rib bone,i am always afraid to bath him sef.mummies how can i get him to add a little flesh.

If a 7 month old still looks like a month old baby then something is most definitely wrong somewhere medically.
Not to scare you, it might be something very simple but you need to act quickly.
I say this cos most babies that have this issue usually have a heart defect, I strongly hope and pray it isn't so in this case.
If all tests shows that he's medically fit then I'll advise you load him with protein ( they are body builders) such as eggs (fried in butter), chicken, fish, meat.
Also try carbs such as bread soaked in Ovaltine or Horlicks (this one can fatten ehn), amala and EBA at night (bad feeding habits but that's how I got Moyo to be fat o ), we will stop it when we reach our desired weight
Also let him snack in between meals, don't feed on demand; time it every 2 hours he eats. Cos if you feed.on demand, he might not request for food on time.

Jex got Huggies dirapers and mehn I was disappointed about how it looks... Jex plain white, zero kiddy design and very light filled cotton...

Please has anyone used it before and watz d review like?

I dislike it.. Used it when she was still on Size 2. We always had a poonami ALMOST EVERYTIME... I feel like the back is not perfectly done like molfix.. The foamy part is to the very end of the back hence why poo always leak out.
And yeah, I also think the design is absolutely boring.

Kindly visit the hospital ASAP just to be certain of the reason. Your LO would be fine though..

In other news, how do babies differentiate meat and the likes from normal food? My baby will not eat her food again once she sights meat even when I try tricking her she'll spit it out. It baffles me o.

Again, she doesn't like food..., like after 5 spoons she loses interest. I can't point any food and say she loovess it. She's healthy but not adding weight in my eyes (only her feet seems to.. Lol). The matter tire me

First,You need to see a paediatrician to be sure there’s no underlying medical issues.

Secondly, did you take all these herbal concoctions or Lipton people take while pregnant to have small babies and deliver without tear? It affects some children.

Some years back, I met a lady with a baby girl. The girl was her fourth child and only girl. The baby looks too small for a 7 months old. She eats anything that you offer her, looks very strong but skinny. She doesn’t look like she’s related to the boys. The boys look healthy and fairer.
The woman later told us she had episiotomy with her other deliveries some people advised her to take Lipton in order to have a small baby. She went feasting on Lipton, had a small baby that consumes a lot but still skinny and drools a lot. Always ashame to go out with the baby.

have used it before,size 3 huggies,red nylon packed made from South africa,it did not give my baby diaper rash.but it did not retain much urine and poo,maybe because the back side was not properly filled like molfix

Thanks ma'am,i had the same issuse with my first son,and when i took him to the hospital i was told that its nothing to worry about,he is four years old now and doing well,i was told its oka ori,and that its in my system thats why my babies are smallish in stature.nonetheless i will visit the Dr this week.

Some ginger or garlic powder can be added. Onions too (cut into bits and softened).
Plantain must be very ripe and please mash to avoid choking.

Huggies is rubbish... Both the red nylon and the yellow nylon. It doesn't hold anything whether urine or poo. And the design is wacky. Lol. But I am serious. They need to work on it
