Hello everyone please i need an urgent advise on my path way currently
I work with one international organization as a data analyst, was recently transfered to a different state due to my attitude and hunger fot success on becoming the best on the field, i was promoted which involved the company training me as to occupy the position of a chief data analyst.
At first before accepting the offer the white man(my direct boss and former chief data analyst) told me if am accepting the job i should be sure that i had not palns on leaving the Job on my own accord for at least 4 yrs because the company will not let me, i never took it serious as he do joke alot we laughed it off
Two months ago a memo was brought which i had to signed, i hurriedly signed as i forgot to sign it for weeks and had to sign at the deadline of submission.
Now i have successfully secured a two year visa to Austria and the company insist i can't leave as i already signed my commitment to them for at least four years.
Yesterday i went through the memo only to discover i actually signed that.
please good people of nairaland is there anyway i can flee whithout putting my guarantors at risk

Lawyers in the house any way out please, the few legal practitioners i have meet are advising me to see out the contract and my visa oh God has been my dream, and its a two years visa pls help house

Why leave your job (I assume it's a well paying one 6 digits monthly) to go spend 2 years in Austria a notoriously racist country especially against blacks

What do you plan to do in Austria? I hope you aren't just going there to hustle like other Nigerians. If it's maybe schooling in a good recognised university and getting a job after maybe that might be worth leaving your job but if it's the other way around . Hmm dont let the devil use you o.

On the strength of the fact that Austria is a notoriously racist country, I suggest you back down your interest to emigrate there. Because you will NOT enjoy it! Ask sincere Nigerians who are already there.
You will be underemployed because of racism.

First i find it hard adopting to a particular position or job which lasts more than 3 years, am afraid of losing focus
Secondly i have always dreamt of traveling to a good ict growing countries don't know how good Austria is but i would like to takr up the challenge
Thirdly i just don't plan living the latter face of my life here.
Am just depressed over the thought of sticking to the company already because i have already fell out of love with some top coworkers

Nd pls its not about the salary structure its about myself and my chosen career path

I always advise people to appeal to what pleases their soul. Go find joy in Austria if that's where your soil will find peace. Come back home if the land doesn't give that peace. I wish you success and peace be with you.
