They lived at Artisan quarters before they moved to Mbanefo Street New Haven. The Okocha family had three boys and they all had JJ as their nicknames...James the oldest had the nickname (JJ) which was passed to Emma and then to Augustine.

Ask your mum to explain better before you start to spread lies on the internet. JJ joined Enugu Rangers straight from Secondary school and he started playing with the big boys at a very early age.

For those questioning his daughters age, JJ met his wife after Atlanta 96. How long ago was that? They got married before he had his daughter.

This is very wrong information and testament to the fact that Wikipedia cannot be 100% trusted.

We played the first match in Abidjan which we lost 1-0, then the Ivorians came to National Stadium Lagos for the return leg which they only needed a draw to qualify for the World cup. Unfortunately for them, Nigeria slaughtered them 4-1 in that encounter. Nigeria now had to go to Algeria for the make ar break encounter which a draw would see us qualify.
Finidi George scored for Nigeria in Algiers, the Algerians equalized, but the draw was good to send us to our first world cup, USA 94.
