Well according to what i observed last year, most people applied for certain course with the aspirations to study them, they might have smashed jamb, but by the time they might have been done with uniport post utme exam and they weigh their average with their course of study, they would be found wanting.

So the supplementary form are for people like that, its just like a second chance, where you get to change your course from top stream, to either middle or low stream.

Like someone that want to study medicine having a jamb score of 268, which all appear Good to go, but scored 200 in post utme, which will then give him an aggregate of 234. Now that aggregate is likely not gonna get him medicine, his chances might not be totally ruled out, but he's on a branch.. He could either stay there(praying to get medicine, but in the end gets nothing) or he could come down to a lower height, fill up the supplementary form and go for the courses advertised(which is going to be some low courses)

When the supplementary form comes out, you'll see the list of courses you can change to, and also the minimum mark required of all candidates if there was going to be any change by the candidate, so if u feel you didn't beat or reach the cut off mark for your course(which unique uniport won't publish) you can then change your course, (not to the ones u like) , but to the optional courses uniport would provide for you..

And for supplementary list? I don't know if i saw anything like supplementary list last year, they released their admission in batches, so supp guys should keep their eyes on all batches, but most especially the last two batches(if there would be anything like that)

Application through the supplementary form is in conforming the jamb requirement for consent of candidate. Gone are the days when you score high and are moved to another course by the university.

Once the benchmark is fixed, those below are adviced to pick up the predegree form or go do change of course to other universities that may be needing candidates.
