There was a mild protest yesterday by villagers over a woman who maltreats her house maid in Ubahu Okigwe area of Imo state. Report has it that the woman was caught beating the little girl who looks sick and malnourished, an act which is said to be happening constantly before the people decided to take action.

The neighbours and other concerned residents came to the girl's rescue as they rushed the woman in question and humiliated her.

The community also agitated against the ill treatment meted out on the young girl.

The woman identified was paraded around the area before being handed over to the police.

So turning this poor girl to what I'm seeing in the picture is not enough for the wicked woman and she went ahead in beating her daily, why are some this wicked?


They should have given her some public beating too.

The evil woman was even protecting her own child in the picture whereas she had the right to mete such evil treatment on another persons kid.
