We have gone to the hospital and it was a conc cleaning agent and not bleach. The owner had to bring the acid along so the Dr knows what he's treating.

The school took care of the charges and my baby isn't going there again.

Thank you mamas
They actually lied to you can you imagine the rubbish? Please I hope that scar will go off the pretty girls leg.. cry

Gbam u don talk am finish
Onegai:

You do not need any medical advise from anybody here. You need to go STRAIGHT to a hospital and then you need to go to a Police Station and the Board of Education in your state. You also need to create a post on all your social media handles RIGHT NOW tagging the creche.

Bleach is NOT supposed to be near ANY CHILD. WHAT IF SHE DRANK IT?? And that burn didn't happen in 2 minutes, for it to burn that badly, she was sitting in it for a while without anyone noticing. Does that sound like a school that is run well??

Do not do any home remedy because if it gets infected, the person who told you to treat at home will not help you cry. Please to the Hospital. And then to your Facebook and tag the school. And then to the Police station. I'll help you broadcast it sef.

We need to start holding people accountable in Nigeria. Or stories like this will keep happening.

They left your child in that state all day and told you "sorry" and you accepted and walked away?? When they were collecting money, was it that easy?

You have a moral obligation to name the school, because if anyone of us sends their child in innocence there and that child dies, you knew how bad the place was.

In fact u should charge them for negligence look at what they did to our baby keli I will say it's wickedness they knew and let u find out by ur self without taking her to d hospital first In fact if this country is a good one the school she be shut down and there license she be taken if they do have one..
Pele if u work at home or shop I will suggest u stay off creche for d moment

I don't know. But I'll make some educated guesses and say "if they are blended and dries properly, stored in an airtight container, perhaps in a fridge (or not), no longer than 3 months". To maintain freshness. HTH.

Wait, what?? I hope someone received unholy hands from you. What rubbish? What was bleach doing where babies are? They probably had it laying around. What if one precocious child had carried the can and drank from it? So many ugly possibilities. Please bring down the roof of that creche if you have not and remove her from that place abeg.

Hello mamas, in the words of @eksbabe make una no look my character o. I'm sorry for abandoning you guys smiley. So from when my baby was 11 months, she started making efforts to stand and would take one or two wobbly steps. This continued until past 12 months. However, since then this girl has refused to stand and even take any steps anymore. Once you put her to stand, she either curls her legs or just looks for the nearest thing to hold and when you try to force her, she just starts crying. She goes round the house standing and walking while holding things. If I had not seen her stand and take a few steps before, I would have thought it was my imagination. Did anyone experience this with their LO? Also, she still does that toe walking thing I complained about earlier although its better now as she firmly puts her feet on the ground 70% of the time but is there a way I can hasten it so she puts both feet on the ground all the time? Most importantly, how can I aid her walking because no be get myself again and I don't have strength to be carrying her always.

PS; She is 13months and 9days old.

I will post this guide on selecting schools again here

www.nefescorner.com/picking-right-pre-school-and-nursery/

If my kids take Calpol, I am alerted. If their food is too much, they tell me. There is a school nurse on standby. If emergency comes, they have their children's Doctor's contacts AND the school also has a hospital close by they are registered with. The teachers are paid well so there is motivation to work and care for my kids well. There are safety standards.

You did not carry another human being for 9 months and bring them to the world so that someone who is more concerned about making a profit over the welfare of that human being, will tell you "sorry, something happened to your baby, okay bye bye now".

Nice tips there

Since she holds things to walk around, then i think you should allow her. I understand the anxiety and the stress of carrying. My son walked at 13months, at 12months, everyone was talking, but i refused to pressure him. One day,he just stood up and started walking. Very soon now, you will come back to ask how you can stop her from jumping upandan and scattering your house grin

Tiptoeing needs Orthopaedic shoes. They're specially made for your child and weighted so it forces them to keep their feet planted to the ground. You probaby have to go to Igbobi hospital to get a recommendation. If not, ask your doctor.

Walking, some babies don't walk fast. Just ignore her and give it 2 more months, she should be dancing shaku shaku. HTH.

Thanks!

I made my friend go through the steps and she immediately saw the expensive school she wanted was not for her. The calibre of teachers were more like Teaching assistants/class nannies but the school was charging N850,000 per annum (minus extras). Another friend read it and jejely withdrew her son from his school (he's asthmatic and they have no school nurse, that's a huge risk).

New post wayyyy up!

Please this was my life and omo, I thank the Lord I got help (because I ran into one cocky olodo who rejected me in uni at Shoprite a week later grin)

Tips on dressing!

www.nefescorner.com/5-days-of-fashion-for-mums/

https://nefescorner.com/reclaiming-yourself/

Love the examples we picked and this is Balogun o! Some people have eye. What surprised me was our style person recommended not wearing jeans unless it was a Friday. She says it's actually pretty difficult to dress up jeans and a nice pair of pants look classier.

Anyhoo, I took her advice and now I look like a Lekki Wife cool (all baffed up with millions in my account and 2 nannies, one driver and a holiday home in London)

The worst thing for a child is to be pressured. Pls don't pressurise her, let her do it at her own pace. Stressing her will make her avoid it, just pretend wen she's trying, in time she will gain confidence to do it.

Thanks mama. I read about those orthopedic shoes and was even going to order one from Amazon but a doctor told me not to worry about it to much until she was at least 3years old, cos since she wasnt walking just yet, the shoes may not work properly.. but its my job to worry. I sometimes secretly wonder if thats why she is not walking yet as she reached all her mile stones pretty quickly.

I think the person is right. It's about 5 weeks. My collection date is next week.
Week 1 - I submitted my documents and paid.
Week 2 - I was called for capturing.
Week 5 - Collection.
