You people like complaining about everything. So you want to tell me that Okorocha did not construct major roads in Orlu and Okigwe? Are you also expecting the governor to build factories in Orlu and Okigwe? If you think Okorocha is good at destroying Markets and Houses, you need to visit Lagos to see mega destruction of anything destroyable from newly constructed houses to shops, markets etc even without compensation to the affected persons just to construction a road. Your major concern now should be pressurizing the government to complete most of its uncompleted projects and looking for the right person to take over Imo state in 2019 and not all these "one city" complains that you guys are fund of doing. It was not Okorocha that dragged private investors to Owerri, the investors saw Owerri as the most attractive destination for investing majorly because it is the state's capital and most famous city in Imo state, the same thing is happening in Enugu state.

All these is being done in Lagos without compensation, u say Please, let's speak the truth... If ur building is in the path of a road, yes, it'll be demolished without compensation, but if u built in the right way n government still needed to destroy t, ull be compensated.

That's the system here in Lagos. Don't make t look as if there was no compensation.

Back to our dear Imo, I just want to say that whatever project Sir Richas thinks he is doing, the people are just not happy with him, and they r d ones that'll decide who they vote for.

I never said only natives developed Awka, I only said the natives are required to play their own part in developing their city. You said Okorocha was not wealthy before he became governor? Maybe you were the one that has been sponsoring the Rocha's Foundation which started even before Okorocha became governor? I'm sure you were also the person that built House of Freda in Abuja before Okorocha became governor? So you think that Okorocha's salary and allowances as a governor for just 1 year is not enough for him to build a hotel for himself? You just hate Okorocha and that is the truth. You want to tell me that old schools he reconstructed in Imo state were only those in Owerri? What of the general hospital built in each LGA, did he also build all 27 hospitals in Owerri? So Okorocha also did not reconstruct any road in Orlu and Okigwe throughout his 7 years in office?

Why is Imo declining in education ranking? Is it also Okorocha that will write the exams for the students in Imo state because, I know that you have already put the blame on the governor? Abia state does not have as much good and well equipped schools like Imo, Anambra, Rivers, Lagos etc but, Abia top WAEC list every year, should we also also go ahead and kill the governors of those states? There is a free education policy in Imo state that was set up by Okorocha for all natives of Imo state, I hope you don't also tell me that the free education policy works only in Owerri?
In Lagos, Ikorodu is the largest residential area in Lagos and also one of the most populated LGA in Nigeria and then the residents in Ikorodu will start disturbing Ambode to make Ikorodu look like Ikoyi or Ikeja or Lekki all because it is highly residential with large commercial centre.
Whether you like it or not, Orlu and Okigwe can never be considered as first choice destination for investors in Imo state except Owerri no longer exist same as investors will always consider Lagos before thinking of other states in Nigeria. If you are so annoyed about the development of Owerri, its better to start calling for Orlu to become the new state capital of Imo since you hate Owerri or Okorocha out of ignorance.
Please give me points that make you feel Okorocha has abandoned Orlu and Okigwe or that he is the reason why Owerri is developing faster than them and please stop talking about Okorocha's property because, that is not your business.

U just mentioned the general hospitals. Please, I'll like to know, which of them have been fully completed?

Don't mind that guy. He has been blinded by his hate for Okorocha

You seem to have time to respond to e-warriros, who don't have voters' cards and don't live in Imo State.

U get time o

Abagworo, biko populate this thread with latest pictures of ongoing projects

I feel bad that Okorocha didn't raise those centenary towers to appreciable heights before leaving office. Those structures wouldn't only redefine the skylines of Imo but also assist in no small measures in solving the accommodation problems of our people in Imo

I know of 5 general hospitals that are functioning properly. One of them is run by the Nigerian Navy, another one is run by the Nigerian Air force, one by the Army, another by the Police and the 5th one is run by an American medical company. There are some other general hospitals in rural communities that are also functioning and let's not forget the specialist hospital and the emergency hospital with tens of ambulances.

Those are the general hospitals built by Okorocha. The state is running just over 20 of them while about 6 hospitals have been given to the military, police and an American firm to run.

FMC Owerri and IMSUTH Orlu, plus perhaps another big hospital in Okigwe area should have taken care of the health needs of citizens of Imo state, and even beyond.
With small consulting clinics at the local government level .

Even the richest states in the Western World can't finance and sustain Okorocha's type of 27 well-equipped General Hospitals.

Eastern Palm University to a Campus of FUTO.

abi you are new Imo government promoter after Abagoro.
Tell oga Rochas to do himself and Imo state one favour:
Rochas needs to tell President Muhammadu Okechukwu Buhari to let the Federal government take over and convert Eastern Palm University, Ogboko, to a new Campus of FUTO or to a new Federal University. Votes are important for Buhari now; Imo state may go for him for doing so.
Every governorship candidate in Imo today has a promise to recover Eastern Palm University from Rochas.
Rochas should have known about CONFLICT OF INTERESTS which wouldn't permit a sitting governor to build such university as a private institution.

You seem not to have info or you got it from a wrong source. Only one Hospital is functional as public hospital which is Ikeduru hospital while the other 3 functional ones were handed over to the armed forces making it a total of 4. The 5th which is Okigwe hospital will be completed probably by month end but the old General hospitals are still functional as over 20 other hospitals by Okorocha are just structures without equipments with some momentarily overgrown by grass. Okorocha cannot equip all to useful standard because of funds but gradually and eventually they will be equipped and put to use.

no wonder he refers to those hospitals as "future general hospitals". Thank God the old general hospitals are functioning.

Who stole these huge sums of Imo state money?

These were all captured at the same time in Imo state annual budget:
1). A stadium in Okigwe.
2) Princess Hotel in Okigwe.
3) A stadium in Orlu
4) Prince Hotel in Orlu.

Okigwe stadium nearing completion

Okigwe Princess Hotel half way completed.

No stadium built in Orlu except a dwarf wall erected.

No Prince Hotel built in Orlu.

Who ate the money?

Money for all the four projects were provided in the budget. Don't think you are talking to kids in the kindergarten.

But who is the governor in his correct senses would map out plans to build a stadium and five star hotel in Okigwe and Orlu, but ended up not building the ones in Orlu?
By every standard, Okigwe is much smaller than Orlu.

New Okigwe stadium is to say Orlu Ntooooor unu ---- by gov. Rochas Okorocha who hates Orlu like shiiit due to ancient intercommunal squabbles.

after 7 years Okorocha dismantled Orlu stadium without replacement stadium till today. The floodlights and seats of the Orlu stadium decayed since then

Even Abagworo, Okorocha's social media mouthpiece says similar Orlu ntooooor through his posts on social media.

The days for Okorocha to render account for his guber years are fast approaching.

I was at Control junction just yesterday and it was bad, i assure you. I think the road was done not too long ago but the quality of work was probably bad, hence the reason it depreciated so fast. I think the best roads that Rochas has done are those that link some parts of the state. For example, i took the road from Owerri to Orlu down to Rocha's village and i was impressed with what i saw.

I also saw the work going on at Wetheral and Okigwe but i must say that the pace of work is rather slow because i was there about a month ago and not much has changed.

Like i said, the Imo state government has to take road construction within the metropolis very seriously and consider constructing new roads in inner steets that have never seen tarred road in their life.

This is the problem with abagworo. He has the tendency of playing down criticism of owerri. Your observations about owerri were also my observations. Igbo cities have this one tarred road, but all the off roads are not tarred. This is sooooo prevalent in aba, it's freaking unbelievable. There are areas of aba that was developed in the seventies that have not seen tarred roads. This is different from what I observed in calabar. You can enter any neighborhood in calabar and exit through multiple very well tarred roads.

Nothing to show about Owerri development again? Then label it 'Imo state is developing,' thinking that you are fooling the majority of Imo state outside Owerri.

Supporters of Third Term for Gov. Rochas Okorocha via his son-in-law, are dwindling day by day.

Iberiberism in Office. Grudge driven..
Okorocha the state governor who bought hundreds of Taxis but ordered all for only his state capital - named them ImoTaxi.

He bought buses but limited the buses to only Owerri roads.

Okorocha bought Police patrol vans but limited them to police only Owerri. The IGP invited to commission the Owerri Patrol vehicles said: with these police vehicles, henceforth, people of Imo state shall be sleeping with two eyes closed.

Under Gov Okorocha, Imo state was reduced to become Owerri, except for occasional diversionary little works outside Owerri.
