I want to ask must one dig all structure foundation? I saw where someone just dug outer walls and cut like two lines to biset the line across the span of foundation

Take a look at the this and tell me if it is advisable to use method of digging only outside walls and probably two other center lines that run through master bed room and the one through pallow only. Though there are many adjustment to this place but not a major ones
