We are looking for a PHP Developer who will be responsible for managing back-end services and development of custom features on our live web application. This will be under the supervision and leadership of our lead developer.
Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Create usable APIs for our web app
- Build API integrations of our web app with other web apps
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP and node JS modules
- Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges
- Integration of data storage solutions like mongodb and mysql
- Conducting regular site updates
- Represent a professional image in dealings with internal and external parties at all times
- Other tasks as may be required from time to time



- REQUIREMENTS

- Strong Knowledge of PHP Laravel framework, knowledge of symfony framework will be an added advantage
- Strong knowledge of Node JS
- Knowledge and experience with use of Git, GitHub, HTML, CSS, JS
- Working Knowledge of how to build and deploy android apps will be an added advantage
- Understanding of systems integration and various web devices and environments.
- Ability to design and implement web services.
- Familiarity with authentication and access control.
- Knowledge of website delivery best practices.
- Living close to Ogba, Ojodu, Ikeja, Abulegba, Agege and environs will be an added advantage
- ND, HND, BSC are welcome to apply


WORKING CONDITIONS

- May have to work extended hours, evening and weekends to meet goals

OTHER REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE
- Ability to work independently and drive self-learning
- Ability to create and apply innovative solutions
- Ability to think critically and contribute to plans within a project's development
- Friendly & energetic individual with outstanding communication skills

Competency in programming is a relative term, from experience, he might be very competent in laravel but naive in symfony which we work with occasionally, in that case would he be worth the 450k you mentioned? And if that is the case, then he is not worth it. A business is not a charity organization, we pay in direct proportion to value created not otherwise.
