When fayose came he sacked them. Now that he is going he has to return them back for you.

He is fulfilling his campaign promising and some people are wailing here.

I don't blame fayose. It is the desperate teachers who would still go and pay for the form to recruited that I would blame. Fayose is capitalising on their ignorance and Desperation.

It was unfortunate for the Ekiti people the land of educational knowledge to have elected Fayose a semi demi half educated illiterate to have been allowed to rule or is it loot, the state for complete 8 years with little or nothing to show for it. just recently after loosing to Fayemi he claimed to have carried out series of promotions to the state civil servants in their hundreds now it is thousands of teaching service recruitment whether qualified or not. I pray Ekiti will come back to fruition with Fayemi.

Don't forget when Fayose came in as governor, he met workers being owed salaries for months. It's a backlog of what Fayemi himself left.

Revenge or not, the citizens still benefit from getting employed, especially in a state like Ekiti.
It's left for their governors to begin thinking outside the box, and making their state viable.
I dont care much for the political parties provided they do something worthwhile for their people and improve the standard of living .

It is the govts mother's dead body. They must bury it.
The workers will be paid eventually. It may take time, but it is still their debt.
Ekiti state is bereft of teachers, they have employed teachers for the future of their children. It is the government's responsibility to ensure their children are educated.
For me, that's the end of the matter. Unless you're telling me they don't need teachers again o, and they have enough teachers.
It's a win win situation for the masses.
Enough of depending on federal allocation, I hope Fayemi does better, and will not also start giving excuses. I understand Nigeria went through a recession, and she is gradually coming out of it.
All Nigerians want is good governance, which includes good education for her children. I know the children of those who have ever been in power are not bothered by such, as their fathers have stolen for generations yet unborn, but the market woman and the petty traders still need teachers for their children.

And you believe sincerely that this good education that is badly needed in Ekiti will be provided by teachers that are not paid. Teachers that will alternate between attending classes and trying to earn a living by the side at the expense of the school kids.
And why not hire thousands more teachers without any means of paying them.

I guess the workers and their kids will eat eventually when they are finally paid by devine intervention.

Fayemi should just dismiss the new workers that's all. after all, he's not coming back for another tenure

You're very correct, he sacked them and later employed his favourites whereas OGD didn't sack those Osoba employed during the twilight of his administration.
