I am just seeing this thread and I clicked to see my brothers who made us proud over the years.
But I noticed one thing, the presence of the western Igbo's (Anioma:Asaba,Agbor, Ogwashi-Uku e.t.c ) was not felt .
I know we are Igbos, but you guys are not doing enough to help matters at all.
Most of my brothers don't think we are and it's simply because of the way we're treated.

#IGBO GA DIMMA

wenem if any Igbo from the so called southeast tells you that you are not Igbo..what you should do is lecture them about your history and make them know they re the fake igbos

nobody can say that nonsense to my face

Wike speaks very clear Igbo language ofcourse that is the only language he knows apart from English language. Peter Odili speaks like someone from Ogbaru or Onitsha because there's no difference in culture and language between someone from his area(Ndoni) of Rivers state to someone from Ogbaru or Onitsha in Anambra. I have been privileged to sit very close to some of these people to hear them speak.

Peter odili is from ndoni and they are of the same stock with the ukwuani-igbo

same with oguta in IMO state

I know a lot about the Igbo ethnic group but I have never crossed the Niger bridge to Anambra before talkless of going to Enugu or IMO or Abia or Ebonyi that is why I like viewing these Igbo trends in order to see what igboland looks like. One day sha, I will visit Onitsha.

Its not like that at all. I also want to post pics from my area in Anioma but the problem is that I only go to Delta only during Christmas. Other delta people viewing this trend do not reside in delta so it is just impossible to post pics of Anioma.

I will be in delta by next month and I will make sure I take pictures of all anioma areas especially asaba

Everybody knows this but the truth is that it is very difficult to change a person's mindset. I have seen my Anioma brothers defend Ndigbo on several occasions where I work in Lagos but when we visit delta, that stupid mindset of not being Igbos will return.

I have tried to take pics from Benin to Agbor to umunede to Issele uku but, the houses around the expressway are not plenty and the main towns are deep inside not close to the expressway. To take correct pics, u have to stop the bus, move into the town very well and take ur pics but, delta line drivers will never stop for u on the road just for u to take pics

Ubulu uku is not far from Asaba, it's not up to one hour drive due to the bad road.
Would be around 30minutes if the road was good

I don't have that mindset bro
infact the Igbo consciousness in me arises anytime I visit places like obiarukwu, agbor or asaba...my only problem is when I see posts like abagworo's post.

How is Asaba, Ogbaru and Onicha the pride of Igbo nation ? How can people who claim to be Bini descendants all of a sudden become the pride of Igbo nation. Onicha speaks Idenmili Igbo qnd practice Nri culture. I know where this is going and I am prepared ABAGWORO.....OdenigboAroli nwa Ide Nnaa is still alive. Lagos Igbo parenting has really let us down. I was dating an Igbo girl from IMO state that grew up I. Lagos but couldn’t speak igbo but fluent in yoruba. Why do our people adopt other cultures and abandon their so easily. This is a really bad trend.

You need to stop it. What you said is not true and over generalizing. It’s the Ikas that have the biggest identity crisis. The rest of aniomas in majority terms see themselves as Igbos.
