Sadly, the Oyo State Government has finally demolished the building housing Fresh FM in Ibadan, a private radio station owned by popular Juju musician, Mr. Yinka Ayefele.

And this has generated alot of public outcry against the Ajimobi Led government which many believed is politically motivated

The building, named “Music House”, was marked for demolition because some part of it were not approved.

The demolition notice was posted on the structure located along Ibadan-Lagos expressway on Monday on the order of the Oyo State Government.

The notice, according to David Ajiboye, its Director of Corporate Affairs and Promotions, gave the owner of the building three days to vacate the building and remove the structure or risk its removal by the government.

The deadline, it was learnt expired on Wednesday, 15th August 2018.

Ajiboye, who confirmed the development on his Facebook page on Tuesday, added that the demolition notice was issued because “The staff canteen in the premises was not approved”.

The post read further, “The spiral staircase was not in the approved plan. The mast was not in the approved plan.

“The fence was not in the approved plan.

“And therefore the entire N800 million edifice where almost 150 people make their daily bread have to go down. You are all invited to the demolition show at the Music House tomorrow”.

Right things like? even if there's a need to demolish it maybe it can cause harm to the people living around that place or maybe for other reasons, I will rather as a governor order for the station to be sealed off, pack out every equipments in the building & keep it somewhere then we demolish the building. The said equipment we packed out from the building will be given back to Ayefele without collecting a dime from him.

He had all the time instead he chose media war to further his cause. It’s only when sentiments and politics are separated from government business that Nigeria can move forward

Imagine the kind of disgusting politics these sophisticated morons are playing on the waste side cry cry
You wake up and start demolishing properties of those you perceive to be your enemies!?
The excuse they even gave for the demolition is not tenable at all.
No governor can try such rubbish in the East without risking a heavy backlash from the public that would torpedo his government.
A popular gospel musician and one who is disabled at that?? This is absolutely inhuman and wicked!!

Like seriously, you are actually defending this inhuman, irresponsible and wicked act by a governor who is obviously out on a vendetta mission!?
Ask yourself, how is a canteen not being in the master plan enough reason to demolish the whole radio station including the entire building and equipment inside??
How about demolishing just the said canteen or sanctioning the radio station to pay a fine and equally ask them to remove the canteen within a given period of time??
This act of the Oyo state government is barbaric, reprehensible and utterly disgusting to say the least. Now let me ask you, did Ayefele build the radio station newly? Who approved it in the first place? Was it not the governor and Ayefele seated in the studio right inside the radio station? How many wrongly situated masts owned by the telecommunication giants have been demolished or even sanctioned in the same state?? Why victimize the owner because you feel you can use state resources to oppress people who are defenceless??
Ajimobi is petty and a tyrant, and I can bet that the reason for this wickedness is political and has little or nothing to do with public interest.

Even the crowd were just watching sheepishly as they demolished the radio station, and they couldn't even put up any resistance to such inhuman act!? The elite will continue to ride roughshod on the masses as long as the masses continue to remain too docile and stvpid to resist them.
Something is fundamentally wrong with the black man.

Lol, what an excuse! You mean the land wasn't in the master plan yet he was given approval by the same government authorities! Again, is it today that the radio station was built? Was it not the governor seated there in the studio of the same radio station (obviously when the going was good) why is it now that they are realizing that?? I can bet with a million bucks that the reason for this demolition is 100% political and nothing else!!

Soo sad, May God give ayefele the fortitude to bear the loss, that said

Sentiment apart, the approval of the building in the first place must be MAN KNOW MAN thing

If I'm not mistaken, a quite notice was giving to that music house 2 years ago when Ajimobi was constructing that express road in front of the structure

the location of Music house is supposed to be a round about because there is a road right at the back of the building leading to felele area

though the demolition May be politically motivated but the master plan was politically approved
