MBA is a terminal degree being that u can't use it to apply for further degree(PHD), while Msc can be used to apply for PHD provided u finished Ur Msc with the required Cgpa.

If you finish Ur MBA and u later think of going for a PhD, u will need to first obtain Msc before u can enroll for PhD. However, if you have 4.0 Cgpa in Ur Msc programme u can move straight to PhD immediately after Ur masters or if you have 3.5cgpa u will do Mphil and then do conversion and move to PHD.

hello. I graduated from unilag with a 2.2.(3.25cgpa) can I apply for MBA full time in the same unilag? Cos in the entry requirement for MBA full time..I saw minimum requirement is second class upper.. that's wat I want to know..

I always wanted to know how the M.Phil thing works

Is it that after the M.Phil you will go straight to yr 2 in your PhD

or you will still have to start from the scratch after getting the mphil
