If you’re talking about academia, sports, music, entrepreneurship, professionals (blue and white collar) etc, Yorubas dominate USA and the UK - undeniable fact! Yorubas don’t just dominate among fellow Nigerians, nay, they dominate heads and shoulders above the entire African continent, and even the entire Black race, second only to AA people! But if you’re talking about drugs, fraud, and number of people in prisons, which I presume you are, then yes, I agree with you, you igbos are number one hardworkers in this regard. So Nigerian legal immigrants in US are only 262,000 and we always talk as if we constitute half of USA population.

Just like I was reading the statistics of foreign (non-residents) students in US as at February 2018 which put Nigerian foreign students in US at just 12,144.

It appears we have the penchant to overestimate our population both at home and abroad.

am sorry to burst a bubble here but smething doesn't seem right -Asians are always seen as the most hardworking and successful immigrants in the US.

and to say that only about 282k Nigerians live in the US legally -hmmmmmm ---I think there are a lot more than that figure although I have to admit a fair number would definitely be illegal immigrants.

On a good day, naija is 1st on that list. When it comes to menial jobs, when interested, i think naija, ghana, and jamaica in that order.

The thing about learned naijans is dat they or we spend time talking to convince others they belong in that group.

Then about regular job naijans, they or we work hard but not consistent.

Those are our national problems outside naija.
