President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday said that the efforts of defectors and their backers in the opposition will not distract his administration from the good work it has been doing for the benefit and development of Nigeria.

He spoke during lunch with some governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and some members of the National Assembly and Commissioners in Daura, Katsina State.

According to him, his administration is focused in delivering the 2015 campaign promises in the area of improved economy, security and fight against corruption.

Buhari, in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said that the APC has the full understanding of Nigeria’s challenges and was encouraged by the support of Nigerians in addressing them.

He said,

‘‘We are always encouraged when all our constituents are happy with the work we are doing and our genuine efforts to make sure that what we campaigned for in 2015 is still very much in our minds and we have not lost focus.

‘‘In terms of security, economy and the fight against corruption we have maintained focus. Even the opposition with all their resources cannot fault our identification of Nigeria’s priorities and the efforts being made to better them.

‘‘We will continue to do what we ought to do in the leadership position God has placed us and we thank the constituents for the support,” he added

On the defections within the major political parties, Buhari reiterated his earlier message to them: saying ‘‘for those who have decided to change camp for whatever reason, we wish them good luck.’’

Done with that, they started one #EndSars movement with one of their members posing as an activist (unfortunately exposed yesterday), since the outfit has been busting their evil schemes here and there. Government, under our ablest Ag President Osinbajo, ordered a reorganisation of the outfit to ensure they bust even more of their devilish schemes.

Given Buratai's vicious clampdown on their beasts (the so called herdsmen ) and their containment, they went ahead to import more arms into the country. Thankfully, our ally South Africa busted their plan, confiscating the weapons even before they get to Nigeria.

Everywhere they turn, failure, rejection, dejection and misery has been their lot. Little wonder their fanatics on the forum seem to be in a permanent state of anger and aggression.

Defectors have been giving the dullard sleepless nights ever.
The Fulani terrorist have only slowed down because they know they are loosing it ,they have lost Benue and if they continue they will loose jos . besides they have gone back to borno killing and maiming daily.

APC government is behind terrorism, their claim to be fighting it is only propaganda.
If buhari wants to claim to be doing well in the economy he should return it back to how he met it. he should also replace over a million jobs lost with increase in foreign debts buhari the dullard have failed. #fact

If PMB fails in 2019 (God forbids) Nigerians/Nigeria will be in bigger trouble than what we have now, because Obasanjo, Saraki and their likes will make their trade in stock to be disrupting democratic process every four years by leaving party A for party B since if they succeed in 2019 that means they'll be doing twice, but they definitely won't have their ways this time because Buhari isn't Jonathan and Tinubu isn't Clark and more importantly APC ain't PDP.

You're not distracted by defectors indeed. Yet you and your political party chase after defectors.
