My experience today is great...My boss said we should work from home, and I am about to enter phase 2 of my sleep. After that, breakfast in bed n more sleep.

I recommend this maintenance every week
most jobs in Lagos can be done from the comfort of ur home but Nigeria ogas won't let it happen cos they like seeing their employees faces. Others like to bully and shout like mad cows cos it gives them joy to show who is boss.

out of fear of the level of traffic that might occur today, I left my house at Ketu past 4am and got to VI in about 30 minutes....the road was virtually empty except for other people who also left as early as I did.

I don't think the traffic will be that terrible today because many officials are monitoring the flow but just pray that no heavy rainfall happens in mainland/island. That is what will keep you in the spot for hours. Add it stands now, the weather is seriously gathering and atmosphere is getting darker.

This guy is so so right 75% of jobs in Lagos can be done remotely without having any employee seated in an office 8-9 hours a day, contribution to daily traffic, eco system , spread of diseases and the likes but employer just want to see you finish all his paying you and you beg for more #slavery. Its so simple they just need to put things in place to check mate their employees, and even less expensis on the company, less salary to pay. All they need to keep corporate setup is to have shift or rotation among workers few people work in office and some remotely this week and you rotate for another week. I have an idea on that tho! Esp. Call center agent where they can work from another state entirely with less pay or the same.
