You are mistaking me for someone else. My posting history doesn't show any record of me opening any thread on Ibadan.

Ibadan was initially an IDP camp for Oyorubas fleeing from across the old Oyo empire from Jihadist marauders.

All I see are just brown roofs. The beauty of brown roof.
Anyway, this is what I saw through my own window last winter over a scandinavian city.

Ibadan was a small remote Egba town 90 miles south of Oyo-Ile - the capital of the Old Oyo Empire.

Ibadan only grew in population after the sacking and pillaging of Oyo-Ile and this was due to the convergence of refugees from all over the empire due to the scourge of the Fulani jihadist.
