My Onew appreciation post.

So I cannot call myself a Shawol by any stretch of the imagination but I absolutely love what SHINee delivered this year. The songs, the videos, the live performances.

Two people stood out to me from the very first video, Key and Onew. Loved their voices immediately but because Key is more of a visual than Onew, I gravitated more to him.

Two days ago, I watched Onew's live performance of Nessun Dorma and my God, I was blown away. I'm very partial to voices, everything else to me is paparazzi, and I was given unadulterated vocal goodness by this man.

Every single time I've listened to this, I've teared up. The passion on his face, in his voice, his carriage, that voice!!!

I'm so thankful I found this video. He joins T.O.P in my list of men I want to give a BIG HUG and a kiss on the cheek, cook a special meal and say "thank you for sharing your talent with me".

I love South Korean entertainment, I know, you'll probably go "duh, of course you do" but honestly I enjoy their movies, series, music, I long to visit and I will but one thing I have never thought of doing is being able to read their language, I'm fine with learning to speak, but I always saw their writing as box on top of box so I never got interested in it, but thanks to these wonderful ladies, I can actually read things in Korean language and write a few words, sure I might not know the meaning of most of what I read but the fact that when I see it, I don't just see box on box, I see words is just amazing to me, and I would probably never have taken interest in learning to read Hangul if not for these precious ladies, so thank you very much my loves.
