I have over 4 years experience in sales already although my passion lies strongly in market research, advertising, branding and the study of consumer behaviour. I have garnered some knowledge of marketing through self-help, mini-courses in Lagos Business school and part of an MBA program I am running. My experience related to marketing has not been spot on as required to land a management role in the field. What steps can I take to make the switch almost seamless as available brand management vacancies need thorough experience. Or do I have to regress and build a new career from scratch? I'll like to know what certifications will be relevant. APCON? Nigerian Institute for marketers? Your advice will be highly appreciated. Thanks |
