20k is still pretty much dicey, seeing he'll be making let's say, 7-15 or above a day on a high or arduous movement peddling your car as a cab. If I were you, I'd appreciate it considering some days might be bad for him and he knows he'd have to makeup for the bad days with the good ones and report at the end of the week an income. It's not a bad idea.
