On Tuesday, August 15, over four hundred people thronged at the office of the Independent Electoral Act Commission (INEC) in Ikorudu, Lagos, to register for the Permanent Voters Card (PVC), but as at 4pm—of the same day, not more than thirty people had been registered. The reason for this was because some of the INEC officials in cahoots with touts illegally sneaked in people who had paid them a thousand, five hundred Naira to fast track their registration. According to one of the tout by the name Chuks, N1,000 out of the N1500 is for INEC officials, N200 for security and N300 for them as the middleman. A woman claimed to have woken as early as 3:00 AM in order to write her name on the initial register to be used by INEC officials for the actual enrollment. She was seen lamenting after waiting endlessly for her name to be called. THE TACTICS After an investigation, it was discovered that these touts always hijack the initial registration and filled it with phoney and fake names which they later trade to those that paid N1,500. Despite INEC extension of PVC registration from 17th to 31st August 2018, millions of eligible Nigerians will definitely not be in the voter’s register. Don't know when this country is going to be sanitise for a positive change. They are charging 1000 and 1500 over here before you can proceed with your registration.

That's what you get when people are not mindful of their future and are willing to sell it. Later you blame the north, Hausa Fulani or whatever for Islamizing Nigeria. In the north underage are registered and people like Daura will go as far as registering people from Niger for free just to make sure they keep those they like in power but in the Middle belt and South wards they do everything to frustrate those that want to register. Yet the dumb Igbos clamouring for Biafra don't know that it starts from the ballots. A statistics should be taken on how many polling units we have in Kano, Lagos, Enugu and any state you like in the south south and you will forget to close your mouth. Or compare the poliing unit in northern and southern Kaduna, Muslim dominated and Christian dominated areas in keffi nasarawa state. Don't we have senators to discus this, what are they doing there? It is seeing in every sphere, Sanusi was a CBN governor we all know the allegations on how he was employing his people. What did Emefele or Soludo do? Later you blame them and bring up all ungodly adjective to describe what you think the north is doing. Their are rumours of wantom deployment of Christian soldiers to Maiduguri for slaughter and unimaginable promotions of people from the north, what did Ihejirika do when he was there? Na Biafra him people go dey shout. If it were not that the North was disadvantaged no one will hear of federal character again. If the north has their own oil Nigeria would have splitted before the twinkling on an eye but what are our senators doing? People from the south, its time to start blaming yourselves, representative and governors not anybody for your misfortune |

the same happened in the north too in a train station...the station ran out of place in the train then corruption automaticaly kicked in.... it happens all over nigeria.... |
