Good morning to wonderful mamas, am always posting on behalf of my wife. She put to bed about a month ago. After a week of delivery, she noticed a hard lump in the upper part of one of the breast, we have been to hospital, we were told that it's probably a blocked duct, mastitis is ruled out, we were just given diclofenac and told to make sure that baby latch on properly... Still the lump remains there.... Has anyone experience this? What else can one do for the lump to go?
Thanks.

this happened to me when I had my first child, it actually resulted in mastitis. please find out from wifey if it's very painful , and please run back to the hospital.

Ìyá alàgbo, as a Snr Member of this group you no suppose dey ask this kain question na tongue

For me, it depends on how well you were lactating Sha. If you were really flowing well, stopping cold turkey could make you leak milk well well.
But stopping gradually would have stemmed the flow over time.

Don't worry, your brain will soon get the message that game is over, just make sure your babies don't nuzzle the breast too often (babies...... the real baby and the grown baby ó)

Kindly specify the area you are looking for a creche so mamas around that location can help out.

1. Our own creche is 20k per month.(magodo, cmd rd axis)
There are some around that accept 15k too.

Thank you so much. The young man has refused formula o, he will just bite the nipple and wriggle his way out. He takes water better. I'll keep trying. Do you have any tips on how to make him take formula?

U can mix the formula with breast milk but the breast milk should be more in content. With time he will get use to only formula. It worked for me that way

my son was like that what worked for us was putting him on my chest to sleep. No drug at all and make sure he is well fed before sleeping. Like a mama said he will outgrow it.
