Former Delta State governor, Emmanuel Uduaghan, former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Ali Modu Sheriff were among prominent politicians who showed up at the All Progressive Congress Caucus meeting at the Presidential Villa, on Tuesday night.

The caucus meeting was summoned by the presidency ahead of the National Executive Council meeting scheduled for Wednesday in Abuja to discuss modalities for the party’s national convention, whether to adopt direct primaries or delegate system primaries.

The meeting which is currently taking place at the new banquet hall of the State House, began at about 8.30pm.

My challenge is, I would prefer Osibanjo who is a Professor in Law to be a President while we keep Buhari as the vice President if we truly want to fight corruption. I think APC should stop fooling Nigerians with these tribal arrangement which is detrimental to the growth of our nation.

Most Nigerians don’t understand what fighting corruption means by a government.. most people think that chasing after looters is the end of fighting corruption. Oh no! It’s not. One of the things Buhari has done to counter corruption is making possible the TSA that the past administration birth the idea but doesn’t have the guts to make it happen, the introduction of BVN to all Nigerians is a big blow to the world of corruption. How about giving power back to the EFCC even though the judiciary keep frustrating their efforts.
