Part of his itinerary is to meet with Nigerians Living in China.

China is probably one of the toughest country to reside legally - even being married to a Chinese does not guarantee you legal status.

So the president would get an insight into the well being of his country men and women, and he would also get a first hand knowledge of the treatment metted out to those who are in trouble - especially those in Chinese prisons.
