I prefer Nigerian banking style by far. Charge me just N52 and do my transfer instantly.
In Norway for example, interbank transfers take 24hrs. SMS is equivalent to N170.[/s]
Does ATM withrawal aslo take 24 hours and Norway and are there charges for using ATM there or card maintenance fee? Sanusi removed the N65 ATM charges, this new cbn governor came and reintroduced it to please his banking people. rubbish

Nigerian banks are electronic fraudsters.the huge profits they make yearly is not from the core banking business but from pilfering money from their customers account.

Why charge me for card maintenence
Re: Nigerian Banks And Its Systematic Extortion (share Your Experience) by Dogalmighty17: 12:50pm On Sep 03, 2018
He is right. UBA has been charging me a monthly card maintenance fee of 100 naira for the past two years. My card expired 2 years ago. I have no atm associated with that account and yet I'm being charged a monthly card maintenance fee.

Nigerian banks are criminal organizations. Our banks were consistently declaring billions in profits even when the Nigerian economy was in recession. They are parasites.

The Nigerian Bank are at the apex of under-developing Nigeria and ensuring Nigerians are perpetually underdeveloped.
Besides these fraudulent sundry charges aforementioned, have u ever attempted obtaining a loan from them?...
....double digit interest rates
...spurious management fees
...administrative fees
....quarterly fees
...that is after u have given them the birth certificate of your ancestors.

What about the banks approaching elected politicians with loan facilities the politicians would be unable to repay even if they are to remain elected forever with their earnings except they embezzle money, there by tacitly encouraging the politicians to loot. The bank give them unsolicited credit card running into thousand of dollars....forget Nigerian Bank o...they are a thieving bunch!

There's no way one can be rich in Nigeria without fraud. That how they extort us to enrich their pocket. Same goes to the politicians.

So N65 is why you are ranting online? I do more than 20 interbank transfers with my naira account daily and the charges exceed 1k.
Go and hustle and stop worrying about common N50 bank charge.

To your question, using another bank's ATM isn't free especially after 4pm.
Also, they remove some money (over 5k naira) from my account at the end of the year for some account maintenance purposes I guess.

I really hate UBA. I stopped using them for long and even dashed them the 1k left in d account.....

While FIDELITY is a very big of fan card maintenance fee. When my verve card expired , I did not go for renewal for 4months. But when I went for a new card, I was issued a visa this time around and lo and behold, I just sat down and watched 4 sms entered my phone. I THOUGHT SOMEONE SENT ME MONEY. But stupid fidelity still deducted maintenance fee for those 4months I had no card on me....

Even though some complain about GTB, I still prefer GTB because of their flexibility and they do not charge me for any monthly card maintenance.

You are sounding like a lunatic. So because you can afford it, everyone should make money like you, in a country where over 80 milion people live on less than 1 dollar/day? Even if it's N1, it's enough to rant about, these banks should look for ways to make money from the various investment opportunities like their colleagues elsewhere with the monies in their possession and not stealing from customers.
