Egypt has the strongest military in Africa in term of sophisticated weaponry. Followed by Algeria, South Africa then Nigeria.
The reason cannot be far fetched: While Nigeria is the biggest recipient of US economic aid in Africa, Egypt receives the larger part of US military aid to Africa. The idea of continuous military aid to Egypt by the US is just a strategy of its engagement in the middle east.
Egypt, being a leader and an influential state in the League of Arab and the only country in that region that made peace with Israel. US is using Egypt to reduce the hostilities of the rest of arab states in that region against Israel. Because in the whole middle east, only Egypt is not at war with Israel any more and it also commands the respect of all Arab nations.

Based on population we are 43rd?!!! With our population,this is bad for Nigeria That means 30 countries that are not up to the population of Nigeria are in the range of 10 to 40,corruption don kill Nigeria. We should be in the range of 9 to 20,if population is to be considered.
