somehow:I started by billing less amount and delivering before time, this made clients review my profile and refer me to other clients. Don't be gullible to scams, it doesn't happen in a day. Competence will take you there. Get on a platform. |

Realberg:I was on upwork but was suspended even without handling anything. I am on fiver, freelancer, hubstaff and outsourcely but yet to get anything tangible. I am not sure if there is something i am doing wrongly. |

somehow:I'll be totally honest with ya, Ik it makes you SOMEHOW. As a creative being myself, i can't promise you that self-doubt and feelings of inadequacy (despite hitting some caysh) will ever go away completely. Firstly your skills need certification, If any or you've undertaken a course, build a portfolio site about you and your services that can increase visibility within your niche. Write E-books basically on your course (just pirate any outstanding one jor) and upload to that site. Beyond just being specific about who i'm targeting, i essentially only offer one service to my client. Be expert at just 1 or 2 related service on your profile and i guarantee your business would reach millennials. Get a portfolio site. build/upload a project on freelancer. |

Realberg:Thanks for the head up. Do you mean i should have a website on myself and what i do and promote the website? Or have a personal blog on my person, then post things (free) about what i do and samples on that website/blog? |

somehow:Sorry, busy rn. I'ld rather a site. Use portfolio site builders, behance or adobe portfolio. It may cost you but that's your main platform, 'freelancer' and others would be a plus one. |
