4601CE:Whatever your state is, can you show us pictures of the train station there? Some of you use every little opportunity to insult Igbos whenever talking about PDP and GEJ's administration, forgetting that the progress made in rail transport today was initiated and almost completely executed by PDP governments. The Idu Station OP was talking about was built by GEJ's government. As for the stations along the Western and Eastern narrow gauge corridors (of which Enugu is a part), the government didn't bother building new stations there, as there has been a plan to build standard gauge along the Western and Eastern corridors to replace the old narrow gauges. The new standard gauges would have newer and modern stations. The blueprint was set up by the PDP government, and Buhari has started work on the Western corridor (Lagos - Ibadan standard gauge line). 4 Likes 1 Share |

PHIPEX:Don't mind am, all the old railway lines established by the Brits more than 60 years ago are in this state..The last train left that station in the early 90s.. This is the situation all over the country. The Brits built this station to move Coal from Enugwu to PH for export, nobody is mining Coal anymore since we discovered fossil fuel. |

Why not ask former minister of transport Raymond Njoku former general manager of Nigerian railway Richard Njoku and the former Accountant general of Nigerian Railway alias I love cars for having discovered 7 cars in his residence how they ate up Nigerian Railways especially Enugu Railway station when the rail system in the country were all under the I Before Others control |
