The level of football has nothing to do with how much money is in the league.

La liga teams always best clubs from the EPL.

They also play the better brand of football.

What EPL have over La liga is media coverage, language and hype while la liga is yet to catch up with.

They also have money because it's easier doing business in England than Spain. (Tax etc).

It's all about opinion bro, whether or not you realize it.

You claim CR7 wouldn't have won Serie A best player in the 90s, much less the world title. How did you know that? After all he never played in that era. If it's because you believe that footballing was tougher back then, (an assumption not based on any logic in the first place), what then do you say about Pele who managed to score over 1200 goals decades before then and not even the most prolific strikers have been able to hit that target today? Was he using magic?

There are polls that place Maradona as the greatest player of all time, some say Pele, a few say Ronaldo, Puskas, Platini, etc.
These awards are not an exact science, they are based on the personal opinions of the persons involved at each given time.

A classic example is 2006 when Fabio Cannavaro won was given the world footballer of the year instead of Zidane. If you are really a football fan, then I don't need to explain how that mad decision came about.

And if Ronaldo was so phenomenal as you all are shouting El Phenomeno up and down, how on Earth did Zinedine Zidane beat him to the coveted crown on several occasions?

Even if we are discount the World Cup winning aspect there is a certain level of mastery of the game those guys at that level have (skill, technique, finese, guile, flamboyance, elegance etc) that Cr7 doesn't have, never had and would never have not now not ever
Aside ability added by training, naturally they were already superior from onset

Every good lover of beautiful football knows that La liga plays better style of football than the EPL.

A lowly Valadolid will play entertaining football than an everton, Southampton or even Westham.

This is not a debate, this is fact!.

You are in awe of Ronaldo, good for you, and you are so filled with passion that you fail to see that you barely have facts to prove your case once you take away the world cup, which is akin to sacrificing your Queen in the middle of a chess game. The only objective advantage of Ronaldo over CR7 is the world cup 'exploits' which are not really so wonderful if you are to take into consideration the fact that one has a master class Brazilian team from keeper to striker, while the other keeps struggling to carry his subpar Portuguese team on his shoulder. Despite that CR7 has managed to rack up 5 ballon dor titles, even without a world cup win, whie the so called phenomenal striker was severally beaten by a midfielder for the same title.

Be that as it may, I maintain my stand that it's all based on personal and highly subjective preferences. We can argue from dawn till dusk, but there are still going to be those who prefer Ronaldinho to Maradona, CR7 to Ronaldo, and even Zidane to Pele. People have a right to their opinions, especially when facts and adequate comparative statistics are thin.
