let me try,global rom is a global Android version ported on a device for it to be used internationally with English language as it's top concern while global version refers to a device released for international use,thats all I can say or you google it for better understanding.

A 1gb ram Xiaomi device is far better than even the spark 2 2gb ram version.

I don't expect you to know this since you've never used a snapdragon device.
