If you are 47 or over, you will not get any points under the Age factor of the Comprehensive Ranking System, but you may get points for other factors such as a job offer, your skills, your language abilities, etc. You may still be invited to apply based on your CRS score and your rank in the pool".

1040 is 550 cost of processing fee + 490 RPRF. Kids pay 150 Cost of processing fee only. And of course 170 for biometrics now.

Application fee (550) is different from right of permanent residence fee, RPRF (1040).

What she meant was that a spouse can give you back the 30 points deducted from you if he/she does well in IELTS and evaluates his/her degree.

Please I do not know where you got this your information from. Having a spouse does not add to the principal applicant's points please it reduces. Please do not mislead people. Let me do a small analysis for you. Using my self as an example.

Just ensure your spouse who is not the principal applicant does WES and IELTS (AVG OF 6 OR 7 IS FINE)

Eraytee, It is the whole payment aside biometrics fee. Once you choose to pay 1040, it covers your RPRF and you are left with biometric payment alone. cheers

Your husband will apply as self-employed. He needs to provide CAC cert for his business, tax clearance and recommendation letters from those he has done business with including SOA showing cash transactions etc.

You can search the thread and read up on those that applied as self-employed.

,please I tried to check under self employ from cic website the only job indicate for self employ is farming and atlethes , and I've gone through nairaland did not see any case related ours and please can he apply under the federal skilled worker
